Job Description

  • Supervise the team for optimizing servers, firewall, network, and IT equipment for best performance and practices.

  • Manage on-prem and cloud infrastructure and services with zero downtime.

  • Supervise the Team for managing the IT inventory.

  • Supervise the Team for the required power infrastructure.

  • Communicate with ISPs for better deals and performance, and technologies.

  • Keep track of the latest technologies and major changes that are needed in the organization.

  • Communicate with vendors regarding procurement, repairment as well as servicing of the devices.

  • Keep track of users' policies and resources regarding local and cloud infrastructures.

  • Plan for the growth of the office infrastructure as per business needs.

  • Keep track of external and internal threats and implement the best solution.

  • Analyze the pros and cons of existing systems and upgrade if required.

  • Write and forward regular reports to the management.

  • Provide solutions to any complex IT-related challenges in the organization.

  • Perform regular appraisal of team members’ performance and devise strategies to help with improvement.

  • Carry out in-depth research to reveal new and better methods of handling functions within the department.

  • Ensure that the company’s data and information are protected from unauthorized access.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as Systems Engineer or similar field

  • A blend of hardware, software and cloud skills along with the ability to work with vendors, subordinates, and other managers.

  • Strong knowledge about the implementation of the industry’s best practices in Network/System/Cloud and Security.

  • Proven ability to conduct technical research, market analysis & develop POCs
