About the role
As a Junior IT Officer, responsibilities involve supporting various activities, including Technical Support, Network Management, System Administration, Software Installation and Updates, Security Measures, and Documentation. This role requires Ongoing IT Studies, administrative experience, strong communication, Technical Proficiency. Familiarity with communication principles is advantageous.
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to IT infrastructure and end devices
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to networks, applications, and hardware
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, printers, power solutions and network equipment
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure they operate at peak performance
Assist in managing the company's IT assets, including hardware and software inventory
Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in IT systems and processes
Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT projects and initiatives
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in IT technology and recommend new solutions to improve productivity and efficiency
Sound knowledge of computer hardware/software, internet security, privacy, networks, and operating systems
Experience in computing system and network
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication in the English language
