Job Description
Develop and maintain comprehensive QA documents i.e.test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data-driven software applications.
Execute manual and automated tests to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Identify, report, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the development team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and validate data quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Communicate new ideas, issues, status, and outcomes with supervisor/team and with clients as necessary
Implement and maintain test environments and data sets to simulate real-world scenarios.
Analyze and validate complex data sets, performing data cleansing, transformation, and verification activities.
Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools to optimize testing efficiency.
Work closely with development teams in an agile environment.
Continuous research and learning; discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Follow the company’s standards, policies, processes, and working culture
Set up, maintain, and execute test documentation and standards.
Plan and perform end-to-end testing efforts of high-complexity features
Creating and expanding automated regression tests.
Assist with production deployment, troubleshooting, and release process.
Job requirements
Graduate in Computer Engineering or similar IT background or equivalent practical
Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
Good understanding of software test methodologies, best practices, and terminology
In-depth knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries.
Experience in testing data warehouses, data lakes, or big data platforms.
Familiarity with data governance practices and data quality frameworks.
Proficiency in data validation tools and technologies such as Informatica, Talend, or Alteryx.
Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPPA, SOC2).
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data-related services.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and validate data accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data-related issues.
