Job description

  • Accounting and Finance Support

    • Prepare and process purchase vouchers and journal vouchers accurately with proper supporting documents.

    • Prepare and process cheques based on approved payment requests and ensure all required documents are attached.

    • Provide cheques to vendors as required and maintain proper records and acknowledgments.

    • Perform routine banking transactions, including cheque deposits, cash withdrawals, fund transfers, and other banking activities as required.

    • Prepare, provide, and collect balance confirmations from vendors, customers, banks, and other relevant parties.

    • Provide finance and accounting support to other areas as required.

    • Coordinate with the Director or concerned personnel to obtain required signatures and documents.

    • Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

  • Government Office Visits

    • Visit tax offices, CIT, SSF, and other government offices as required for regulatory compliance and document submission.

    • Keep updated on relevant regulatory changes and share important updates with the Finance team.

  • Bank Visits

    • Visit banks for cheque deposits, cash withdrawals, fund transfers, collection of bank documents, and other banking activities as required.

  • Document Management

    • Maintain an organized and systematic filing system for financial and accounting documents.

    • Ensure proper filing, indexing, and secure storage of physical and digital financial documents.

    • Assist in maintaining and improving document management procedures and standards.

    • Ensure financial records are updated and maintained accurately and on time.

    • Support the Finance team in retrieving required documents for audits, reconciliations, internal reviews, and other business requirements.

Job requirements

  • Ongoing or completed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. plus point if they have degree

  • Proven experience in a finance or administrative role is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with directors, government officials, and other stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Google workspace)

  • Ethics & Confidentiality: Strong ethics, with the ability to manage confidential data responsibly.
